When Nathan and his family were first introduced into the community at Nuestro Mundo Community School (NMCS) during the pandemic’s onset, it was a whirlwind. With his oldest starting kindergarten via remote, bilingual classes, the learning curve was steep. But it didn’t take long for the support and warmth of the NMCS community to shine through. From dedicated teachers to supportive parents, he quickly felt at home. Here Nathan has found a community of dedicated, loving, socially-conscious individuals devoted to ensuring the success of our students, not only academically but also culturally and socially. There is something unique about the staff, teachers, and families that make up Nuestro Mundo, and Nathan is honored to be a part of that community. He now has two kids attending the school, and is excited for his youngest to join the bunch in a few years.

Professionally, Nathan works in the realm of Data & Analytics, serving as an Experienced Manager on the Digital Solutions team at BakerTilly. He has a passion for numbers, having experience as a data engineer and developer, business analyst, and project manager. Off the clock, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family and pet dog (Poppy), running, and board games. Having a Bachelor of Music in Composition, Nathan also enjoys singing, dancing, and playing piano.

Nathan has contributed as the Treasurer on the NMI board for two years. He is excited about the school’s future and feels privileged to be part of the wonderful tapestry that is Nuestro Mundo.
