Udai Olivares works for the UW-Madison Division of Extension FoodWIse as a Nutrition Educator who is responsible for delivering research-based nutrition education to families with limited income and promoting healthy eating habits, active lifestyles, and healthy community environments. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Latinx Employee Resource Group at UW-Madison Extension and has previously served as the Chair of the Dane County UW-Madison Extension’s Racial Equity and Social Justice Committee. He is working toward an Associates Degree of Arts, Design, and Humanities in the area of Visual Communications at Madison College. Udai is the parent of two Nuestro Mundo students and joined the board in 2023. He brings unique perspectives to the NMI Board based on language, culture, education, and life experiences with the goal of advocating for and advancing the success of NMI & NMCS.
